The story revolves around Keller Dover (played by Hugh Jackman), whose six-year-old daughter, Anna, goes missing along with her friend, Joy. As minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Detective Loki (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) arrests the RV’s driver, Alex Jones (played by Paul Dano), but a lack of evidence forces his release. Fearing for his child’s life, the desperate Dover takes matters into his own hands, leading to intense and suspenseful events.
